Seth Rogen Makes Fun of James Franco for Chatting With Underage Girl on Saturday Night Live: Zooey Deschanel and Taylor Swift Crash SNL Gig
It started with a monologue. Saturday Night Live returning guest host Seth Rogen opened up the program on April 12 with an excerpt from this journal called "My Week at SNL," but his diary excerpts were interrupted by surprise appearances from James Franco, Taylor Swift, and Zooey Deschanel.
For his third time hosting the show, Rogen said he didn't need to rely on his famous friends to turn it into a success, even mocking his pal James Franco for his recent scandal involving an underage girl.
The Neighbors star claimed he was the 17-year-old girl Franco chatted with via Instagram. "He seemed unfazed," the comedian added of his pal, who eventually apologized last week for trying to meet up with the "way young" girl.
Franco then appeared onstage and interrupted, "Great prank, buddy. I've been waiting at the Ace Hotel for like, three days."
A ukelele-strumming Deschanel also made a cameo during Rogen's opening scene, although the New Girl star was upstaged by Taylor Swift.
"Why are you here? a disgruntled Rogen asked the country pop superstar. "Why did you come?"
"You were getting really upset," Swift responded. "And every time a man shows emotion, I appear." by nevel
