Neil Patrick Harris wears a hat while exiting the Ed Sullivan Theatre following an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman on Thursday (April 24) in New York City.
The 40-year-old actor is currently playing the title role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway and you can see all of the production shots in the gallery below!
Neil‘s fiance David Burtka told Vanity Fair about how the creative team is involving their kids Gideon and Harper in the process.
“They’ve made some wigsfor [Harper],
so she has some wigs that she’s been trying on,” David said. “They love hanging out in the theater and going onstage and running around back in the balcony. They have a whole little playroom where they go play, and Toys ‘R’ Us is just down the block, so it gives them incentive to come to the theater.”
“We’ve been very clear with the kids that they’re going to see us in lots of different guises throughout our careers and throughout their lives,” Neil added. “And that includes Halloween; we like to get all dressed up and do fun stuff with them, so when I was Frankenstein, and had a big headpiece, we wanted to make sure that they saw me getting into it, and how it’s put on, as opposed to just I go into a bathroom, and I come out and I’m scary.
