Katharine McPhee, Husband Nick Cokas "Working on Their Marriage" After Her Fling With Married Director

Don't cancel this marriage just yet! Smash star Katharine McPhee unintentionally kicked up a major scandal last fall, when the the singer-actress, 29, was photographed making out with Michael Morris -- despite the fact that both McPhee and Morris were married to other people.


In the aftermath, it was revealed that American Idol runner-up McPhee and husband Nick Cokas, 47 had been separated and "living apart" for months before the kissing photos surfaced, but she was nevertheless "embarrassed" by the scandal.


Flash forward to Monday, March 10 -- when McPhee and Cokas were photographed (via TMZ pics) chatting and walking their three dogs together in L.A. The reunion is more than just amicable exes, a source close to McPhee assures . "Katharine and Nick are working on their marriage," the insider says.


Director Morris, meanwhile, has been married to In Plain Sight actress Mary McCormack for over ten years, and they share three kids. Although McCormack, 45, initially kicked Morris out of their shared L.A. home after the McPhee brouhaha broke, they've reportedly reconciled. by nevel
