Megan Hilty married boyfriend Brian Gallagher in Las Vegas on Saturday
What a smashing good time! Megan Hilty has married her longtime boyfriend Brian Gallagher. The former Smash star shared the news via Twitter on Saturday, Nov. 2.
"I married the love if my life tonight at The Venetian Chapel in Las Vegas!" the 32-year-old wrote. "HeLikedItSoHePutaRingOnIt."
"We shared a perfect weekend with our family," the actress tells Us Weekly. "To us it's more about the marriage than the actual wedding, which is why we decided to skip the whole engagement thing. We couldn't be happier!"
She adds: "It was only our immediate family. We called them about a week ago and told them. We invited everyone but didn't expect anyone to show up since it was so last minute but they did! It was perfect!"
The blushing new bride and her new husband also shared photos shortly after the nuptials via Instagram. "WE DID IT!!! justmarried," Gallagher wrote. Alongside the caption, the two newlyweds were all smiles as they posed for a close-up picture. The two lovebirds showed off their wedding bands as Hilty wore a beige tight-fitted dress with her blonde locks down in waves.
Hilty and fellow actor Gallagher, 33, first met when they were both working on Broadway. The blonde beauty appeared on the musical drama Smash as Ivy Lynn for two seasons, before its cancellation in 2013. She can currently be seen on NBC's Sean Saves the World.
