can't tell if Kanye West is just plain crazy or if he's crazy like a fox (he's punking us with the assault on eyes and ears that is the "Bound 2" video, right? I've always loved his music despite his horrendous personality, but if that thing isn't a Joaquin Phoenix-type stunt, I feel like Kanye maybe should get a CT scan just to rule out any medical anomalies), but either way he definitely has a knack for making headlines. So I guess we'll file his recent bizarre rant against Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh under F for "fox," but also for "f*ck yeah, Kanye just got trolled by an online retailer."
Apparently Kanye has some pretty strong feelings about the quality of Zappos's products (because god forbid a consumer buy a pair of shoes that costs less than $25,000), and he aired his complaints in a podcast. The hilarious response from Zappos almost legally requires an "I'ma let U finish ..." joke -- but suffice to say, I am 100 percent Team Zappos in this feud.
So Kanye did a podcast with Bret Easton Ellis (because apparently they're working on a top-secret movie together) (I sure hope it's better than The Canyons, awesomely described by one critic as "one of those movies that makes you feel worse just for having watched it") (also, with regards to the actual recording of the podcast, how did one room contain all that douche? It is a mystery!), and at some point his conversation veered to the CEO of Zappos, Tony Hsieh, who Kanye met during a recent trip to Las Vegas: By Nevel
