Miley Cyrus Explains Tongue Move, Jokes About VMAs in SNL Promo By Nivel

So that explains it! Saturday Night Live will be having controversial singer Miley Cyrus as their host and performer on Oct. 5, and it looks like nothing will be off limits. In the new promo video for her upcoming gig, SNL cast member Taran Killam questions the 20-year-old former Disney star about her wild ways.

"Miley, do you mind me asking why you're always sticking out your tongue?" Killam asks.

"It's how I smell," explains the "We Can't Stop" singer, who is wearing a white leather jacket over a white bra top with orange checkered bottoms in the video. "That's how you smell?" Killam asks. "Like a snake?"

"Yeah," Cyrus says, sticking out her tongue. "Are you wearing women's deodorant?"

In another funny promo clip, Killam scolds Cyrus for her raunchy performance of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" at the 2013 MTV VMAs in August. "Miley, that VMAs performance . . . how could you?" he asks. "I know, how could I?" she agrees.

"I mean, it was too much," Killam says. "The children!"

"And what was I wearing?" Cyrus asks. Killam adds, "And doing?"

"Don't forget about the children!" Cyrus yells, before cracking a mocking grin.
