Since getting Anna Wintour’s seal of approval, Sports Illustrated supermodel Kate Upton has graduated from cheesecake model that Victoria’s Secret spurned to major player in the fashion world, landing coveted front row seats at Chanel and hitting the catwalk for Marc Jacobs’s final Louis Vuitton show. And much like former fashion pariah-turned-clotheshorse Kim Kardashian, Upton’s Parisian get-ups have run the gamut from mild to wild.
For her first big appearance, the model attended the Chanel show in an outfit that we’re going to need in our closet, like, yesterday: perfect-fit black skinnies, booties, a seaglass-green tailored tweed jacket and an armful of chic bangles. Later that night she hit the red carpet for the Mademoiselle C premiere in a plunging, fitted white sheath with black lace overlaid, plus sleeves, a yoke and a high-low train made of the same delicate black lace.
And we’re guessing she didn’t stay out too late that night, because she was up bright and early to hit the runway for Marc Jacobs’s final show for Louis Vuitton, and that’s when things really got wild. Like many of the models in the show, the star showed acres of skin in a sheer, sequined bodystocking with strategically placed glittery bits, then topped it off with a feathered faux-hawk hat and clutch.
