Chelsea Clinton, Husband Marc Mezvinsky Have Plans to Start a Family in 2014

Could Bill and Hillary Clinton become grandparents by next year? If it were up to their daughter, yes! Chelsea Clinton revealed in Glamour's November 2013 issue that she and her husband Marc Mezvinsky hope to expand their family in the coming year.

"We sat down and said, 'Here's what we want to do.' The first thing on the list was simple: We want, God willing, to start a family," the 33-year-old said. "So we decided we were going to make 2014 the Year of the Baby."
"And please," Chelsea added, "call my mother and tell her that. She asks us about it every single day." (Hillary may be supportive of Chelsea's want for a family, but it works both ways for the mother-daughter duo. When asked about her mother's possible 2016 presidential bid, Chelsea replied: "I support my mother in whatever she does. Always.")

The couple's decision to try for a baby came on the heels of Clinton's grandmother Dorothy, Hillary's mother, passing away in November 2011. "It was such a fundamentally unmooring event for me," she recalled. "I've never been so lost as I was when she passed."

The list -- made just one year after tying the knot -- also included a pact to work really hard at whatever they put their minds to. "[My grandmother] had strong ideas about what I should do with the opportunities I had been given. I realized that as much as I tried not to care about the things my parents cared about, I did care about them," Chelsea said. "I was ready to answer that calling and be the person my grandmother had always known I was."
Clinton and her investment banker beau said "I do" in a lavish ceremony in July 2010 in Rhinebeck, N.Y. The newlyweds were feted by around 400-500 guests and the bride wore Vera Wang for the big day.
