Angelina Jolie Steps Out Still Wearing Mysterious Gold Band: See a New Picture of the Ring!
Keep 'em guessing! Angelina Jolie continued to fuel speculation about her marital status on Wednesday, Oct. 2, when she stepped out in Australia still wearing the mysterious gold band spotted on her ring finger earlier this week.
The Unbroken director, 38 -- clad in her usual head-to-toe black -- was all smiles as she returned from Kangaroo Island, where she and her crew were scouting locations for their upcoming World War II drama. She carried a black straw hat and a black bag, but her most striking accessory was the simple second ring on her left hand.
Engaged since the spring of 2012, Jolie and fiance Brad Pitt have been mum on wedding details but have hinted that they'd tie the knot sooner rather than later. "The time is nigh," the 48-year-old World War Z actor said in November. "It's soon. I got a good feeling about it."
Of course, this is not the first time that the globe-trotting couple -- parents to kids Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne, and Knox -- have sparked rumors of a secret wedding. In March, Jolie was spotted wearing a different gold band on her left ring finger, but she denied at the time that it was a wedding band.
In any case, there's no question that the couple are committed to each other and to their family. "This is a guy who has tried not to do any sexy scenes with other women since he's met Angelina," pal Frank Pollaro told Esquire in May. "He's crazy about her, and she's the same way about him."
"No matter how hard he's working, if one of those kids runs by the window, he'll get out of his chair and give them a kiss," Pollaro added. "And I don't think I've ever seen Angie without one of those children in her arms."
Deja vu, Brangelina style. Angelina Jolie, unwittingly or not, provoked yet another round of secret wedding rumors Down Under over the weekend. Hanging out at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia with her kids, the actress and Unbroken director, 38, wore what seems to be a new gold band on her wedding finger; the simple ring rests against the Oscar winner's much more elaborate engagement ring, given to her by fiance Brad Pitt in spring of 2012.
Jolie and Pitt, 49, briefly reunited in Hong Kong with all of their six kids -- with Pitt returning to continue filming Fury in the UK, and Jolie to prep for Unbroken in Australia. (Pitt was spotted with their youngest, 5-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, at a Legoland store in England.)
Together since 2005, the globe-trotting couple have both been dropping hints that a wedding really, really is coming soon. "The time is nigh," the World War Z actor said back in November 2012. "It's soon. I got a good feeling about it."
As recently as this March, however, Jolie shot down talk that another mysterious gold ring was a wedding ring. "No, it's not," she told reporters in L.A.
Wedding or not, 2013 has already been an extremely emotional, bonding year for one of Hollywood's biggest couples, whose relationship has only deepened after Jolie underwent a preventative mastectomy earlier this year.
"It's been an emotional and beautifully inspiring few months," Pitt told USA Today. "My most proudest thing is our family. This isn't going to get that. by Nivel
