Sleepy Hollow premiered this week, introducing us to a foxy new Ichabod Crane, his detective partner, and one pissed-off headless horseman. I thought the pilot was interesting but borderline silly, but either way, the show really got viewer attention, scoring impressive ratings. The first episode has some thrills and chills, in addition to setting up a handful of pressing questions for the season (How did Ichabod get transported to the future? What's up with the four horsemen and the impending apocalypse?), but what I appreciate most about the show is that it kills off one of its most recognizable actors (no spoilers) in the very beginning of the season!
